  • Business closures, loss of work, illness, social distancing and quarantine efforts have all contributed to increased financial strain. Additionally,

  • School closures have greatly reduced access for many children to free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch options while simultaneously increasing childcare costs for these families.

  • Grocery shopping poses serious health risks for the elderly and immunocompromised.

All of this has contributed to increasingly high barriers to fresh food access and the increased need for solidarity in the food system.

Friends of CSFR is a monthly giving program that provides CSFR with financial security through reliable support.
